VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Bank BSE -1.24 % general manager Krishna Prasad today said the bank was constructing toilets in the schools in rural areas under the Swachha Bharat Abhiyan.
The bank had already identified a Zilla Parishad high school in Krishna district, and some more high schools would be identified very soon, he added.
The bank was also thinking of adopting a village in the district, he said. Prasad said the bank has opened about 15 lakh accounts under the Jan Dhan scheme.
