Members of Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuva Shakthi breaking coconuts for the well being of former TN chief minister J Jayalalithaa at the Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada on Monday
VIJAYAWADA: Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuva Shakthi (TNTYS) president Kathireddy Jagadeeswara Reddy has urged chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to use the 800 sq yards of land that was allotted by Jayalalithaa government in Chennai, to construct ‘Andhra Bhavan’ for Telugu people residing in Tamil Nadu.
He visited the Kanaka Durga temple Monday along with other TNTYS members and prayed for well being of former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa, who was recently granted bail by the Supreme Court in the disproportionate assets case. Speaking to reporters on the occasion, he urged the people to express solidarity with Jayalalithaa in her difficult times.
He informed that they have started a mission to perform special poojas at Kamakshi temple at Kanchipuram, Meenakshi temple in Madurai, Durga temple in Vijayawada, Chamundeshwari temple in Mysore and other prominent temples in India.
