Arrangements reviewed for Naidu’s visit

Municipal Commissioner C. Hari Kiran and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration) G.V.G. Ashok Kumar visited Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) Stadium on Friday and reviewed arrangements for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s visit.


Mr. Naidu will participate in the Police Commemoration Day on October 21 at the stadium.
He will introduce the police initiatives and pay tributes to the police martyrs who laid down their lives while discharging their duties.

The senior officials went round the stadium and inspected the arrangements. Mr. Hari Kiran directed the corporation officers to take up repairs for DSD Hall where Mr. Naidu is likely to convene a review meeting with the district officers.

Mr. Ashok Kumar inquired about the dais, gallery, restroom and other facilities provided in the stadium for the Police Commemoration Day.

The Municipal Commissioner asked sports cell in-charge Z. Srinivas and District Sports Development Officer Ramakrishna to make arrangements for the programme.

Health officer Ramakoteswara Rao and other officers were present.
