The new Chevrolet SAIL Sedan launched at the Vijayawada showroom on Friday
VIJAYAWADA: Fusion Motors launched the all new Chevrolet Sail Sedan and Chevrolet Sail Hatchback at its showrooms in Vijayawada and Guntur on Friday. Fusion Motors managing director V Ratna Prabhu launched the four-wheelers.
Originally introduced in November 2012, the Sail is built on a global passenger car platform, created especially for India and other fast-growing emerging markets. The Sail’s exterior exudes sporty styling. Its aggressive front-end is based on the dynamic sculptural design philosophy, while its muscular physique is enhanced by wide-angled jewel-effect tail-lamps and wrap-around headlamps.
At the heart of Chevrolet Sail Sedan and Sail Hatchback is GM India’s latest family of petrol and diesel SMARTECH engines, which present an excellent combination of high power, excellent fuel efficiency and low emissions.
The 1.3l Turbocharged DOHC SMARTECH Diesel engine delivers 75 PS max power, 190 Nm torque and an excellent mileage of 22.1 kmpl. The 1.2l DOHC SMARTECH Petrol engine delivers 83.6 PS max power and 108.5 Nm torque and an excellent mileage of 18.2 kmpl.
The ex-showroom price of Sail Sedan is Rs 5.36 lakh (Petrol) and Rs 6.54 lakh (Diesel). The ex-showroom price of Sail Hatchback is Rs 4.57 lakh (Petrol) and Rs 5.56 lakh (Diesel).
