VIJAYAWADA: A pregnant woman and the child in her womb died at Praja Vaidyasala, a private hospital in Kondapalli town here Saturday. The death occurred when doctor Madhusudhan Rao was performing cesarean delivery operation on Kavitha.
Following the incident which took place in the morning, relatives of Kavita staged a protest in front of the hospital throughout the day, alleging negligence on part of doctor. While the doctor is absconding, no case has been booked by the Ibrahimpatnam police as the victim’s kin did not lodge any complaint till now.
