VIJAYAWADA: City commissioner of police AB Venkateshwara Rao has said that chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the Police Commemoration Day celebrations on October 21 in the city. The venue of the programme, Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium (IGMS), is being readied. The commissioner aslo informed that the department is making all efforts to introduce various innovative and people-friendly police initiatives like ‘FIR - Mee Mungitlo’ and ‘Dial 100’, that will be launched by the chief minister.
